Operating primarily in London and the South East, we are a small team of highly professional, tenacious and innovative individuals. We work with hundreds of companies and, using inspiration and innovation, we support the implementation of new and better ways of working. 


Derek is the driving force behind the growth and development of the company. He has extensive experience and understanding of the issues affecting the built environment sector in the South East and has a wide network of contacts within industry and Government bodies

Trained in construction management, Derek gained his broader knowledge of the UK through his work with the Construction Industry Board, the national strategic forum for construction.

Tina has been with SECBE for over 10 years and plays a strategic role in the company’s business development.  As lead on marketing, she has an impressive track record of market and stakeholder engagement both in the UK and overseas.  Tina has managed and/or been pivotal to the successful delivery of a number of UK Government and European funded projects and is responsible for the Constructing Excellence Awards in London and the South East.

Tina’s career has been in corporate marketing and her experience includes FMCG and international property consultancy.

Julian is responsible for the smooth delivery of SECBE projects. From the initial proposal, through to scope development and resource management he ensures that SECBE delivers to its customers.

From a career starting in IBM, where he was a senior Operations Manager, through to companies in the Telco and Build sector, Julian has extensive Business and Operations experience gained at a variety of different companies. He also has an MBA.

Graham Clarkson MBA, MRICS, MCIOB, leads SECBE Consulting and particularly supports clients to achieve the targets of the industrial strategy for construction 2025 through the deployment of innovative tools and techniques.

Coming from a Constructor background, Graham has over 30 years’ experience in the industry with an MBA in Project Management. He is a firm advocate of innovation, emerging technologies and new processes to improve the performance of the sector. Recently, Graham pioneered an Innovate UK funded research project to establish the changes in dynamics and behaviours across the construction supply chain, unlocking more efficient and collaborative ways of working with BIM to achieve the forecast 33% reduction in construction costs. Graham was also Chair of the Constructing Excellence Oxford Club in 2014/15.
