SME of the Year

Type of organisation: Architects

Number of staff: 43

Company turnover: £2.4m

From humble beginnings, Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt Architects are now a 43 strong team with studios in Hampshire and more recently in London; the opening a significant milestone and a fundamental part of their 5-year business plan. Collaboration is key to the success of their projects and they work closely with clients, consultants and stakeholders to ensure that their designers respond to the needs of the client and end-user.

They pride themselves on looking beyond the initial brief to discover ways they can add value, approaching projects with enthusiasm, creativity and pragmatism, considering each detail from first principles and remaining ‘hands on’ throughout the process. 2017 was an outstanding year which included the opening of the new studio and expansion of the Hampshire office, which resulted in the recruitment of bright, new talent to the team. Their relationships with clients and consultants has given them a great foundation for future growth and a win at the World Architecture News Awards has provided them with a platform to pursue international work.

The SME of the Year will be announced at the awards ceremony and gala dinner on the 28th of June at the Royal Lancaster London. For more information about the event or to book tickets click here.
