| Summary | The HAZRED project will be working to develop a hazardous waste reduction plan for the Construction sector, including reduction targets. HAZRED is looking to work with 20 small businesses in the Construction sector who would like to save money by reducing the amount of hazardous waste they produce. Businesses will need to demonstrate a commitment to reducing their hazardous wastes and to monitoring their waste output. The project is adminstered by the Environment Agency in England. |

Business Support
Participating businesses will receive:
Access to the hazardous waste reduction plan
On-site training from a specialist advisor on better hazardous waste management
At least one follow-up visit Advice through the HAZRED hotline and dedicated email address
Waste minimisation help and advice, including on-site visits, is available to small businesses across the UK through the Envirowise website, or by calling the Environment & Energy helpline - 0800 585 794.
