Sustainable Drainage
Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) are used to manage surface water and run-off from paved building areas. They are designed to drain surface water in a more sustainable way by replicating natural methods of drainage. ‘SUDS employ a range of techniques to effectively manage urban run-off where it is happening'.
