Requirements Training
In these tough economic times, SECBE recognises the fact that companies are reluctant to invest in training. On the other hand, a recent Netregs survey has said that preference is given by large firms to subcontractors who can demonstrate their green credentials.
SECBE can offer your company FREE training on a course designed to increase the knowledge of those people involved in environmental issues. The 1 day course, entitled “Environmental requirements for the construction industry” is accredited to NVQ level 3, is offered to you for free if you can meet this criteria.
-
You are based in the SEEDA region of the South East
-
You are an SME with a turnover of less than £35m
-
You have a minimum of 10 people who would participate in the training. (if you have less than this, let us know and we will put similar companies together)
-
You will provide the training location.
The reason that SECBE is able to do this is that it is part of a European project which is providing subsidies on specific training courses. By providing a minimum of 10 people on a course, the money from the subsidy covers the cost of delivering the training to you and therefore we can give it for free.
