Mobile IT

To solve the industry's fragmentation problems mobile technologies are being adopted in the construction process more and more. This has many inplications on the skills required by staff.

Staff are required to attain technical knowledge in order to use new systems and processes.

It has been a common perception that staff are or would be reluctant to use IT based technologies on the building site. This, however, has been shown to be a misconception.
