Flooding
The Environment Agency website includes a resource for searching for flood risk ratings of an area by post code. Their website also states that climate change will cause increased flooding risks to the UK in the future. Because of this, the Foresight Future Flooding report was commissioned. This examines a range of future scenarios, and suggests that the following need to be part of an integrated response to the risk.
- Catchment-Wide Storage.
- Land-Use Planning.
- Realigning Coastal Defences.
