CRASH Charity raises over £4k at the Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards!

CRASH Charity joined the 600 construction professionals from the London and the South East region at the Royal Lancaster London to celebrate the achievements in the region from the past 12 months and to raise funds to ensure they can continue their vital work supporting homelessness and hospice charities with their building projects.

Kate Marsh, Senior Partnerships Manager at CRASH, joined host Maggie Philbin on the stage to highlight the work CRASH do by working collaboratively on building projects by offering free professional expertise, sourcing materials and awarding cash grants donated by the construction industry.

Following a Twitter poll in January this year, CRASH won the vote to be our supported charity at this year’s event. With the generous donations from those attending the awards on Thursday 28th June, CRASH was able to raise a massive £4404, with donations still to be counted!

Francesca Roberts, Chief Executive of CRASH charity said:

“It is a great honour for CRASH to once again be the chosen charity for the Construction Excellence SECBE Awards. They are extremely generous and loyal in the way they support the work of CRASH to help people who are homeless or in need of end of life care in hospices. CRASH charity simply couldn’t continue its work without the great support of the people and companies that attend the Construction Excellence SECBE Awards and it is an important event in our calendar.”

Thank you to everyone who helped CRASH to raise such an impressive amount at the awards last week and who attended the gala dinner and ceremony. The awards continue to inspire, It was our biggest yet with 600 guests celebrating the success of the regions’ finest people, organisations and projects.
